Modelled on our versatile and widely-enjoyed Mara&Meru™ 3-in-1 Bag, this canvas and leather bag is packed full of features to take your adventures to new levels. Zip this bag on to the Mara&Meru™ Safari Voyager as an end pocket on safari and on multi-day outdoor pursuits. Simply pack this bag as a day bag for cycle trips and outings and keep your luggage together with the Safari Voyager and unzip to use it as a stand-alone bag.

The shoulder strap clips off and detachable backpack straps can be kept in the compartment at the back of the bag, so you can choose how to wear your bag. The three pannier straps are located at the back of the bag and are secured by means of two buckle closure straps and one with a press-stud.

The vintage canvas and beautiful leather material with brass detail is evocative of safari style, speaking to our innate desire for adventure and discovery. At home in Africa, it is an eye-catching accessory no matter where you take it.

Say no to plastic packaging
Your Mara&Meru™ bag is packaged in a re-usable canvas drawstring bag. At The Safari Store, we are working hard to eliminate plastic from all of our packaging. This forms part of our commitment to a green future and the preservation of the environment, so future generations can enjoy pristine natural spaces.

A note about canvas and leather: We stand by the quality of the construction of our canvas and leather range and the quality of the safari-grade canvas and leather we use to make our bags. We have also expedition tested all of our canvas and leather luggage and bags so that we know just how tough they are. Canvas and leather are, however, fabrics and, as with all fabrics, they have their limitations. While cases are few and far between and we have not experienced puncturing on our own safaris and expeditions, fabric, by its very nature, is able to puncture or tear if subjected to force, sharp objects, if thrown along an abrasive surface, or other forms of harsh handling.

A note about luggage handlers and ground staff in Africa: We stand by the quality of the construction of our leather range and the quality of the safari-grade leather we use to make our bags. We have also expedition-tested all of our leather luggage so we know just how tough it is. Leather is, however, a fabric and, as with all fabrics, it has its limitations. While cases are few and far between and we have not experienced puncturing on our own safaris and expeditions, fabric, by its very nature, is able to puncture or tear if subjected to force, sharp objects, if thrown along an abrasive surface, or other forms of harsh handling. We urge any clients who have their luggage damaged by luggage handlers and ground staff to contact us for a quote to submit to their travel insurance to make a claim.
