Cover up without the weight in anti-insect, quick-drying, and sun protective tech pants that are built for safari and outdoors. Styled for comfort and everyday wear - and as the name suggests, light enough to wear all-day-long. These trousers have both a button with fly zip & a drawstring to fasten at the waist - with belt loops too. Should you prefer to not use the drawstring then simply remove from the trousers once you receive them and checked that they fit.

Allow 1cm variance for all garment measurements (as an example a 56cm garment measurement has a variance of 55-57cm. Please factor that into deciding on the size to order.)

The measurements shown above are garment measurements so should be compared to another garment rather than your body measurements. 1/2 Waist Measurement Note: These trousers are made with an elasticated waistband and a built-in drawstring so that the best fit is that much easier to achieve. The size chart shows both 1/2 Waist (relaxed), and 1/2 Waist (slightly stretched). Once you have measured your own trousers to get the 1/2 waist measurement for them using the instruction below, simply find the range on our size chart into which your trousers' 1/2 waist measurement falls and you should then get your size right. For example if your trousers measure between 43.5cm and 48.5 cm (17 inches to 19.1 inches) for the 1/2 waist, then you would order our size Large.

Three easy steps to ordering the right size:

STEP 1:
You will need the following items:
• Measuring tape
• A flat surface (such as a table or counter)
• A notepad and pen
• An item of clothing from your wardrobe that fits comfortably and is a similar style to the one you wish to purchase

How to measure chest/bust/arm/back

STEP 2:
Referring to the images above, place your garment on a flat surface and record the following measurements:
A. 1/2 Waist: Measure across the top of the waistband from corner to corner.
B. Front Rise: Measure from the top of the front waistband to the crotch seam;
C. Inside Leg: Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg hem.

STEP 3:
Compare your measurements with our size chart and order the size closest to those measurements. 1/2 Waist is usually the most important measurement if you are in a hurry, but checking all three will make for the most comfortable fit.

TIP: If you do not have a measuring tape, use your credit card. The long side of a credit card measures 8.5cm and the short side is 5.4cm. Simply use the centimetre measurements on our chart and divide by 8.5cm to get an idea of how many credit card lengths equals the measurement you are recording.

Whether you’re dressing for warm weather or packing for safari, adventure travels, or multi-day camping or hiking trips, lightweight tech pants are the way to go. The Adventure All Day Longs are made from our latest BUGTech™ micro-ripstop fabric that is feather-light and has a soft hand feel. They feel great with features for performance outdoors, in Africa, and every day.

BUGTech™ fabric provides insect defence and wicks moisture to keep you cool and bite-free. It also has built-in, lab-tested UPF50+ sun protection so you can cover up to protect your skin from sunburn.

These tech cargo pants are also quick-drying for easy wash-and-wear convenience as you travel or for when backpack or suitcase space is limited. They also have an anti-microbial finish for extra freshness and protection.

These cargo pants have been designed for style and comfort. The elasticated waistband, with removable drawstring, fly, and belt loops ensure the best possible fit – whether your days involve hours of sitting on planes or game viewers or active adventures.

Longs are the best way to cover up and these full-length trousers are the lightweight solution for walking through long grass or covering up from the sun - especially in warm-weather conditions.

The trousers have six pockets in total, making these real utility trousers for the outdoors. They have two hand pockets and back pockets, as well as two zipped cargo pockets with a pull tab on each flap for easy accessibility.

BUGTech™: it's in the fabric of who we are
Anti-insect clothing very rarely offers effective wicking properties, with the fabric trapping heat and sacrificing comfort for insect defence. This was one of the key issues we sought to avoid in developing our BUGTech™ range. We wanted our clients to enjoy the same features and comfort level they had come to expect from our MaraTech™ range with the added advantage of insect defence for their safaris, adventure travels, and outdoor experiences.

• As a result, BUGTech™ has been tested, refined, and re-tested on safari, but also in some rather extreme conditions on expedition around Africa. We are happy to report that the wicking properties of our fabric is unhindered by the anti-insect treatment.
• Apart from our in-house tests, we wanted to offer our clients the added assurance of independent tests. In tests conducted by the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS), BUGTech™ fabric was proven to offer defence against most biting insects. We are unaware of any other manufacturer willing to publish their results.
• The active ingredient in our BUGTech™ fabric is permethrin which is used at the ultra low dosage of 500ppm. Permethrin is a man-made version of a natural insect repellent found in certain Chrysanthemum plants. BUGTech™ utilises a proprietary permethrin formula to provide effective, odourless insect defence.
• BUGTech™ is effective against most biting insects.

Always follow the wash care instructions on the label on your garment.

⊙ ANTI-INSECT FINISH: BUGTech™ lasts approximately 20 washes. Note that, for any anti-insect finish on a garment, you should always back up the garment with a good insect repellent. It is worth noting too that the tight weave of our BUGTech™ (and SAFARITech fabric) has been shown to also offer a measure of protection against mosquitoes.
