Fusing strength and style, it is the clear choice for long safaris and short trips. The design of the Rufiji™ Safari Explorer was developed to meet the demands of African travel. The elements of this robust, soft, and squashy luggage have seen the bag grow in popularity, being used in Africa and beyond for general travel and everyday use.

The Rufiji™ Safari Explorer Washbag was developed as the perfect travel accessory to complement the Rufiji™ Safari Explorer. Incorporating the same design principles, the washbag is fully lined and uses the same horseshoe-shaped zip, allowing for ease of access to your toiletries and to simplify packing and unpacking. The bag closes with a double zip and has a further zipped exterior pocket. Whether on safari, travelling, or for daily use, the canvas and cowhide styling add a touch of African reminiscence to your adventures.

⊙ DETAIL: The Rufiji™ Safari Explorer Washbag is fully lined and has stylish leather trim which complements the curved lines of the bag itself. The outer pocket is perfect for keeping items separate.

⊙ HANDLE: The unimposing single side handle is made from thick woven canvas and leather for ease of carrying.

⊙ ZIPS: The main compartment is easily accessed through the horseshoe-shaped zip. The durable zips on the main compartment and front pocket have leather tags to make zipping and unzipping easy on the hands.

A note about canvas and leather: We stand by the quality of the construction of our canvas and leather range and the quality of the safari-grade canvas and leather we use to make our bags. We have also expedition tested all of our canvas and leather luggage and bags so that we know just how tough they are. Canvas and leather are, however, fabrics and, as with all fabrics, they have their limitations. While cases are few and far between and we have not experienced puncturing on our own safaris and expeditions, fabric, by its very nature, is able to puncture or tear if subjected to force, sharp objects, if thrown along an abrasive surface, or other forms of harsh handling.
