We have just arrived back from our adventure and have had a wonderful time!!! My husband did procure a fleece before we went and alluded to the fact whilst shivering on the back of a land rover on an early morning game drive that you obviously you knew what you were talking about!!

From our experience on safaris and expeditions in Africa we believe that a warm layer is definitely required for just about all safaris. As yet another example: we have been in the cold and wet in Mana Pools in Zimbabwe wearing one of our warm layers on the 1 October when it was meant to be 44 Celsius and dry and dusty. A few days later it was 44 Celsius - and dry and dusty.
