How it works:
The luggage protecter works by cocooning your favourite Mara&Meru or Rufiji holdall bought from The Safari Store. Please see the list above under 'Quick facts' to find out which holdalls this luggage protector will work with.

Step 1 - Pack your Mara&Meru or Rufiji bag and get it travel-ready:


Step 2 - Open up the Luggage Protector and place your Mara&Meru or Rufiji holdall or duffel inside:


Step 3 - Fold the flaps over the holdall and close the studs of the luggage protector around your Mara&Meru or Rufiji holdall or duffel - and just like that your favourite bag is even more travel-ready with it's own bodyguard protector against the elements, luggage handlers, dirt and dust:

Introduction
Safari travel conditions can be hard on your precious luggage. While our holdalls are designed to be tough, we recommend this luggage protector to reduce dirt and damage to your bag on your travels.

Air travel isn't always easy on luggage - and an extra barrier to damage comes in the form of this easy-to-use protector. The cover secures around the handles using antique brass press studs as a simple travel solution. In strong safari-grade canvas, this luggage cover gives an added layer of protection for your safari duffle bag.

The bottom of any bag is worthy of extra protection. Two hardy plastic strips run along the bottom of the cover and act as a buffer on tar, in the airport, on gravel, and throughout your safari and travel adventures.

In designing the Mara&Meru™ Safari Voyager Bag and Rufiji™ Safari Explorer II, we opted for high-quality safari-grade canvas and leather for its strength, style, and durability for safari luggage. These bags have accompanied many safari travellers on their African travels over the years and our feedback is almost always that these bags were made to take a beating.

However, canvas and leather is not indestructible and this got us thinking of additional ways to protect your luggage on African travels - and this luggage protector is the result. In the same way as you get a cover to protect your mobile, this luggage protector is a cover for your bag to preserve the longevity of your treasured safari luggage. This luggage protector also acts as a dust cover to keep your luggage looking newer for longer.
