What would Africa be without its wildlife? Driven by a desire to support conservation around Africa, Steve approached the anti-poaching unit in Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve in South Africa to find out how The Safari Store could help. What ensued was the design and manufacture of prototype patrol boots - and extensive testing on the feet of the patrol men and women of the APU. Wholly practical and immensely comfortable, this patrol boot can't help but be stylish too - so we made them available to our clients. Wanting to do more, for every pair bought, we donate a pair of Rufiji™ APU Combat Safari Boots to anti-poaching organisations - making the boots work doubly hard for conservation.
